Introducing Teardowns by SandHill.io
Diving into the fastest-growing companies across industries and geographies
We’re extremely excited to share a new experiment by our team called Teardowns.
Teardowns is an evolution of a process I set up while I was working in VC. It’s a newsletter that dives into the fastest-growing companies across different industries and geographies with the intention of helping investors & builders stay on top of the latest developments across markets of interest and/or get up to speed on new ones.
Our analysts dive into a company each day, going through all publicly available information on the business from articles & press releases to videos & podcasts to product reviews & analyzing performance on competitive intel tools. We then create a brief one can read in 3-4 minutes with key information about the company – what it does, its business model, operational tactics it leveraged to scale, its performance, and more.
We’re starting with 4 initial coverage areas but intend to expand this over time to cover a broader range of sectors and geographies.
We’d love for you to check out Teardowns and subscribe. As always, we love engaging and partnering with subscribers so please do reach out (just hit reply!) if you ever have any feedback, suggestions, or collaboration opportunities.
A huge thank you to Ahmed Al Rawi, Rick Zullo, Richard Kerby, Simran Suri, Chelsea Zhang, Salman Chattha, Nicole Ruiz, Abhinaya Konduru, Ishani Ummat, Nikko Guiam, Joseph Lissak, Sarah Pariwush, Soughat Uderani, Nahal Shaikh, Agha Hamza, and Mutaher Khan for helping in the development of the teardown structure and process.
